Loup Garou
Unlike the mythical werewolves of Europe and North America in which the power to transform into a wolf was bestowed by either a witch’s magic or the power of the satanic arts not by birth. Loup Garou are not created via bite which is popular in the movies and many stories that come from Europe and North America in the later years.
Loup Garou are only born not created. To be born a Loup Garou one or both of your parents must possess the gene and pass it to you. If only one of your parents are Loup Garou that does not make you half Loup Garou. There is no such thing, thus if your born with the gene you’re a full blooded Loup Garou.
The most commonly known weakness of the Werewolf is Silver, this can be almost any amount of silver and the silver itself acts as a poison if inhaled or exposed to a small piece such as a shard stabbing you in the thumb. Originally this lead to a horrifically slow and painful death but the Antigene allows for the Werewolf to be cured of the poison before it can overcome them. However, a silver bullet to a vital organ is always fatal, unless the bullet passes clean through leaving a small chance of recovery.
Loup Garou possess the ability to shift from their human form into that of their wolf form, they do not possess a form that is a mix of the two. Loup Garou are amazingly fast, though not superhuman, they possess amazing stamina allowing them to literally run for hours on end without needing to stop. Their capable of smelling blood while in either form and even track that blood if provided with a sufficient trail. Their most revered trait is their ability to heal from injuries faster then the normal human in many cases small wounds will heal within a minute or two, while serious injuries as long as they are not immediately fatal or involve silver will heal several times faster then a human though will still take awhile, this is not immediate regeneration. If a Loup Garou loses a limb or organ their healing power will not regenerate that organ however it can regenerate enough of it if a portion of it remains such as regrowing a portion of the organ should they have been shot with a normal bullet.
